Life a 4 letter word for randomness

You pushed me to the ground
and said that we were through.
And I thought I’d never ever
Get through missing you.

But that was many months ago!
And time, it has been kind.
because I think I’ve finally
pushed you from my mind.

But see, I got back up!

I’m willing to start back up!

I am fallen, but not broken

So my next assignment will be working for a boys and girls club on a reservation. It will be a definite change of culture and pace. I wonder how my team is going to take it, but then i think about it and they need to see the other side of living form my race’s point of view.

So this is it. In less than 24 hours I’ll be heading out from Iowa to Wisconsin, to perform work on the land and better its appeal to it’s citizens and the community.

I’m rather nervous, earlier this morning i had to say goodbye to a good friend i made on campus today as they head out to Illinois. Even  though it’s only for about 8 weeks its going to feel like forever with the distance, but I’ve made it this far and i dont plan on stopping now.
